 Chris was born and raised in St. Louis. He lives in Ballwin with his wife, son, and dog. He went to SLUH for high school, Indiana University-Bloomington for college. He then followed in his father’s footsteps in becoming a lawyer, attending University of Missouri-Columbia for law school.

After gaining valuable experience as a defense attorney, Chris made a strategic career move by transitioning to the position of assistant prosecuting attorney. This shift allowed him to broaden his legal expertise and acquire essential trial experience from a different perspective. Eager to further develop his skills, he decided to join a reputable law firm in St. Charles County, where he focused on specializing in family and civil law. By immersing himself in these practice areas, Chris honed his abilities in trial advocacy and gained a deeper understanding of the intricacies involved in resolving legal disputes within these contexts. This transition not only expanded his professional horizons but also provided him with a well-rounded foundation to handle a diverse range of cases with confidence and proficiency.

Returning to his passion: criminal law, he transitioned to a criminal defense firm specializing in DWIs. His expertise and proficiency played a key role in transforming the firm into a comprehensive criminal defense practice equipped to handle the most severe cases.

Chris and Andy left that firm and they created L&M Law Group. They wanted their shared values as defense attorneys to be the cornerstone of their law firm. They desired to build a practice centered around giving clients honest and quality advice and representation. That advice is straightforward and they promise never to simply tell their clients what they may want to hear, but what they need to hear.
